JARA-Kids
The so-called STEM subjects – science, technology, engineering, and mathematics – are often not very popular with young people despite the fact that these subjects are not only indispensable for science and research but for everyday life. An important task for research institutions and universities is to introduce school students to these subjects, capture their interest, and consolidate their progress.
In the school years 2015/16 and 2016/17, the JARA-Kids initiative was offered to support young people with a talent for STEM subjects and to strengthen their interest in these fields. The project was time-limited and is no longer being carried out today.
