Focusing Expertise - Shaping the Future
In the Jülich Aachen Research Alliance (JARA), RWTH Aachen University and Forschungszentrum Jülich pool their outstanding expertise in five research sections, a JARA-Center and four JARA-Instituts.These common efforts open up new research opportunities and facilitate projects that would not be attainable for either of the partners on their own. JARA | BRAIN

The European Commission has signed a grant agreement to fund EBRAINS with €38 million until 2026. Over the next three years, the infrastructure will continue to develop tools and services to widely serve research communities in neurosciences, brain medicine, and brain-inspired technologies. JARA-BRAIN scientist Prof. Katrin Amunts is significantly involved in the project.

The "Quantum Computational Science and Engineering" hackathon took place for the first time as part of the MSS profile area and JARA CSD. PhD students were given the opportunity to use the Quantum Annealer JUPSI at the FZJ as part of small projects. The results are very promising.
