JARA Institute Brain structure function relationships: Decoding the human brain at systemic levels
In recent years, the methods of neuroanatomy and neurophysiology as well as advanced imaging techniques have led to substantial progress in understanding the structure and function of the human brain. JBI 1 will focus on the application of these insights to our understanding of healthy and pathologically changed neural systems. We are also expecting an important contribution from computational neuroscience, with respect to modelling normal and disturbed neural networks as well as to analysis and data mining.
