Between High-Tech and Tradition – Insights into China’s Innovation System
From 6 to 14 September 2025, a delegation of 28 experts from German universities and research institutions travelled to China. The aim of the trip was to explore the country’s innovation landscape.
ENASEC-Konferenz at RWTH Aachen University
On July 7 and 8, 2025, experts from academia, politics, and practice met at RWTH Aachen University for the ENASEC conference. Two intensive days brought together interesting and diverse perspectives on international cooperation with China—and beyond.
ENTRANCE Celebrates its Midpoint
The interim evaluation of the ENTRANCE project took place on October 23, 2024, marking the halfway point after a year and a half of project work. This event provided an opportunity to reflect on progress made so far and collaboratively develop a roadmap for the remaining project period. It also offered space to discuss options for shaping the next phases of project work.
Call for Participation - Call for Papers
On July 7–8, 2025, the ENTRANCE conference, “Lessons Learned: Navigating Experiences from Sino-European Cooperation for Future Global Engagements,” will be held at RWTH Aachen University. This conference aims to summarize key findings and address outstanding questions from collaborations with Chinese institutions. A call for papers will be issued in conjunction with the conference.
ENTRANCE Focus Trip to Beijing
In September, the ENTRANCE project team traveled to Beijing with a delegation of German universities and institutions. The trip provided exciting insights into German-Chinese cooperation, visits to leading research institutions, and inspiring discussions.
