Qualifications and Careers

Early-career scientists are an important engine for excellent research and are therefore essential for maintaining the importance of Germany as a location for science and research. From a very early age, young people should be encouraged to take an interest in science and research. Attracting their interest in these fields not only has a positive effect on their school work but also opens up attractive prospects for careers and university courses.
In the same way, young women scientists, doctoral researchers, and postdocs require support to make their way in science.
Various opportunities in the context of JARA at both the Aachen and Jülich sites are tailored to early-career scientists.
