JARA-HPC at ISC 2017

From June 18 - 22, 2017 the International Supercomputing Conference (ISC), one of the biggest and most im- portant events regarding HPC, took place once again in Frankfurt, Germany.

Scientists from Juelich and Aachen presented their current research activities in numerous workshops and tutorials. Furthermore, the new JARA-HPC booth, provided a platform for lively discussions with other HPC experts. JARA-HPC's scientists also demonstrated the virtual, interactive 3D-factory layout planning tool "flapAssist", which is a holistic and integrative concept for the support of collaborative planning, monitoring and control of core processes within production and product development in various application fields.
