Helmholtz Nano Facility (HNF)

The task of Helmholtz Nano Facility is rapid progress in nanoelectronics and their technology offering efficient access to infrastructure. HNF gives access to expertise and provides resources in production, synthesis, characterization and integration of structures, devices and circuits.

Helmholtz Quantum Center (HQC)

The new technology laboratory "Helmholtz Quantum Center", HQC for short, takes account of the increased importance of quantum technology. Among other things, the aim is to cover the entire spectrum from the research of different quantum materials, the testing of various qubit concepts to the construction of a European quantum computer. Basic research, theory and development are to be bundled in the center. To this end, six research fields and seven technology clusters will be linked together.
