Study analyses the effects of energy transition on the energy supply
It is undisputed that energy from fossil fuels must be rapidly replaced by volatile, green energies. Above all, a phase-out of coal energy is necessary to achieve the climate targets. Nuclear energy has also been obsolete for a long time because of its unpredictability. A study by JARA-ENERGY member Prof. Aaron Praktiknjo now shows the effects of the nuclear and coal energy phase-out on the energy supply.
