Energy supply without Russian gas and oil?
Since the beginning of Russia's military attack on Ukraine, not only politicians in Germany have been concerned with the question of whether an energy supply without Russian gas and oil would be feasible. Now, scientists from the JARA partner Forschungszentrum Jülich have taken up this question. From the detailed analyses, the experts derived key statements and recommendations for action on the extent to which and how the loss of Russian natural gas imports can be compensated for on different time scales, within a few days, months and years.
