Third funding period for "Oxyflame"
The Grants Committee of the German Research Foundation (DFG) has extended the funding for the Sonderforschungsbereich/Transregio 129 "Oxyflame - Development of Methods and Models for the Description of the Reaction of Solid Fuels in an Oxyfuel Atmosphere" for a third funding period. Scientists from RWTH Aachen, Ruhr-Universität Bochum and Technische Universität Darmstadt are working in the SFB/Transregio, with JARA-ENERGY member Prof. Reinhold Kneer of the RWTH Chair of Heat and Mass Transfer as spokesperson. Around 10 million euros have now been approved for the research work over the next four years.
