JARA-ENERGY junior professor visits Singapore as visiting professor

At the invitation of the Energy Studies Institute, Professor Aaron Praktiknjo was teaching and researching as visiting professor at the renowned National University of Singapore in summer 2018. In collaboration with the team at the Energy Studies Institute, Professor Praktiknjo is researching factors which are relevant for the reduction of energy poverty and possibilities to implement such factors into energy markets.

 Furthermore, in a lecture, he is presented insights gained from the 'Energiewende' in Germany as well as new scientific methods and models of energy system analysis which his team and himself have developed at RWTH Aachen University. The National University of Singapore was elected the best university in Asia by both, QS World University Ranking 2019 and Times Higher Education World University Ranking 2018. Since 2015, Professor Praktiknjo is head of the JARA-ENERGY-Juniorprofessorship for Energy Resources and Innovation Economics at the E.ON Energy Research Center.
