Prof. Guillon - Fellow of the American Ceramic Society

Prof. Olivier Guillon, JARA-ENERGY member and Director of the Institute for Materials Synthesis and Manufacturing Processes, Forschungszentrum Jülich, has been appointed Fellow of the American Ceramic Society. The conference was held from 09 to 12 October.

During the conference, Prof. Guillon spoke with other Jülich colleagues on the subject of "Unique Performance of Thermal Barrier Coatings Made of Yttria Stabilized Zirconia at Extreme Temperatures (> 1500°C)" and on the topic of "Flash Sintering: A Paradigm Shift for Processing of Ceramics".
