JARA-ENERGY and the profile area ECPE (Energy, Chemicals and Process Engineering) of RWTH Aachen University have a wide range of common research topics. There are five future topics, the "Grand Challenges", for which roadmaps are being developed in joint working groups in order to make the energy research of the two institutions more visible.
