Successful Karman conference on sustainable computational science and engineering

From March 16 to 19, 2025, the first Karman Conference on “Sustainable Computational Science and Engineering” took place in Steinfeld Monastery (Eifel) - with great success.

The event brought together experts from various disciplines to discuss sustainable perspectives in computational science and engineering (CSE) - from resource-efficient computing and sustainable software development to the application of CSE for sustainable solutions.

The conference was sponsored by the Exploratory Research Space (ERS) of RWTH Aachen University, which set a strong signal for interdisciplinary research and sustainability with this Karman conference.

Further information and insights into the conference program can be found here.
