Alexander Mitsos Coordinates New Priority Program for Machine Learning in Process Engineering

he German Research Foundation (DFG) will establish 14 new priority programs.

This includes the program titled “Machine Learning in Process Engineering. Knowledge Meets Data: Interpretability, Extrapolation, Reliability, Trust” at RWTH Aachen University. Priority programs investigate the scientific foundations of current or emerging research areas. The priority program 2331 “Machine Learning in Process Engineering” is coordinated by Professor Alexander Mitsos, director of the RWTH Chair of Process Systems Engineering and IRTG Principal Investigator.
