Disillusionment in the US – An Opportunity for Europe’s Human-Centred AI

JARA-CSD member Holger Hoos warns of a potential AI bubble in the US: language models and projects such as autonomous driving are failing to meet expectations, which could put both stock markets and public trust at risk. Rather than viewing artificial intelligence as a replacement for humans, he sees its primary potential in the role of assistive systems.
