Prof. Janina Fels is the designated president of the German Acoustical Society

JARA-BRAIN scientist Prof. Janina Fels, Chair of Hearing Technology and Acoustics at RWTH Aachen University, has been elected Vice President and designated President of the German Acoustical Society (DEGA). Her term as Vice President will begin on July 1, 2025.

Since 2020, Prof. Fels has been head of both the Chair and the Institute for Hearing Technology and Acoustics. Prior to that, she served as Professor of Medical Acoustics at RWTH Aachen University.
