Prof. Dr. Hermann Wagner Elected to Academy for Science and Literature in Mainz

JARA-BRAIN scientist Prof. Dr. Hermann Wagner has become a member of the Academy of Science and Literature in Mainz. The professor of biology at RWTH Aachen University has been named a full member of the mathematical-scientific branch of the academy. Prof. Wagner’s research priorities are the orientation of animals

and the underlying neurobiological principles and biocybernetic mechanisms. The scientist uses a combination of experimental and theoretical approaches in his research. The experimental methods range from the molecular and cytobiological level to systematic and behavioural neorobiology.
