JARA | HPC

Since 2012, scientists at RWTH Aachen University and Forschungszentrum Jülich have been using the JARA-HPC partition to carry out interdisciplinary research projects. More than 50 of these projects are currently being processed using the computing capacity of the JARA-HPC partition. One of these projects is "Cosmic-Ray Physics with the AMS Experiment on the International Space Station" by JARA-HPC member Prof. Dr. Stefan Schael.

On April the 5th, Prof. Johanna Wanka, Federal Minister of Education and Research, announced funding for four Copernicus projects for the transformation of the energy sector. The Power-To-X project coordinated by RWTH Aachen University, Forschungszentrum Jülich, and DECHEMA was among those selected.
