JARA partner RWTH with good marks in QS Ranking by Subjects 2022

JARA partner RWTH Aachen University was able to achieve top rankings in the fields of mechanical engineering, materials science, and mineral and mining engineering in the current QS Ranking by Subjects. In Architecture, Civil Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, RWTH Aachen University is among the top three German universities. RWTH is also doing well when compared with other universities around the world. In ten subjects it is among the 100 best universities worldwide, with Mechanical Engineering in 19th place and Mineral and Mining Engineering in 16th place.

The British information service provider Quacquarelli Symonds published the annual global university ranking on April 6, 2022. Various criteria are used for the ranking, which are weighted differently in the individual subjects. The most important indicator is an online reputation survey; the citations of scientific papers are also included in the ranking.
