Symposium "90 years of RF Accelerators“


Location: AachenMünchner Halle, Templergraben 55, RWTH Aachen Unibversity

On September 6th 2017 the Sypmposium “90 years of RF Accelerators” will take place in AachenMünchner Halle at RWTH Aachen University. Prof. Achim Stahl, director of JARA-FAME and Prof. Andreas Lehrach, member of JARA-FAME, are part of the organization committee. Registration ends on august the 25th.

90 years ago Rolf Wideröe submitted his thesis in Aachen. In his thesis he laid out the basic concepts of modern accelerators. The half-day symposium celebrates this event with talks on the history and modern accelerators from the LHC to the XFEL and medical applications.
