CAMMP week Pro 2019
Location: Youth Hostel in Voeren (Belgium)
In June 2019, the "CAMMP week Pro 2019" will take place for the third time on the topic of "Mathematical Modeling". Bachelor's and Master's students can experience applied mathematics. The students work in small groups of five to six people on current research questions from various institutes of Forschungszentrum Jülich. Mathematical modelling is used to deal with real research questions. The young researchers are supported by qualified professors and scientists. At the end of the week, the results of the teams will be presented in a closing event.
The CAMMP week Pro opens up the chance to widen the horizon beyond pure study content. Participants gain an insight into the life of a researchers and into applied mathematics. In addition, the week offers excellent networking opportunities. Participation of the week can lead to thesis topics as well as to project positions.
The course adresses students of mathematics, computational engineering science and simulation science who are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme. Registration is possible by e-mail or via RWTHonline.
