Unique Electron Microscope Inaugurated
A unique electron microscope was inaugurated at the Ernst Ruska-Centre (ER-C) on the campus of Forschungszentrum Jülich today. The device referred to as PICO has a record resolution of fifty billionths of a millimetre. It will allow users from science and industry to study atomic structures with the highest precision possible and to achieve progress in areas such as energy research and information technology.07.12.2010
"More than Moore": New Materials for More Efficient Chips
Jülich scientists will be joining forces with 15 European partners to lay the foundations for the oxide-based nanoelectronics of the future in the EU project "Interfacing Oxides" (IFOX).
