PhD students outline future challenges in polymer sciences

Young chemistry talents were in the spotlight of the second Leibniz Young Polymer Scientist Forum, which took place at DWI – Leibniz Institute for Interactive Materials on July 6 and 7. Evonik Industries and DWI had invited 19 PhD students from research institutes all over Germany. more

Great start for 6th JARA-Section

On May the 13th, 2015 JARA celebrated the founding of JARA-SOFT (Soft Matter Science) with a ceremony. JARA-SOFT is dedicated to the multidisciplinary exploration of Soft Matter. Soft Matter includes synthetical and biological macromolecules as well as colloidal and amphiphilic systems.


As part of a cooperation project between RWTH Aachen University and Forschungszentrum Jülich (JARA), a new database was created, that provides comprehensive overview of the main research areas in energy of the two institutions.
