Delft, Aachen and Jülich join forces to build scalable quantum technologies

The QuTech institute in Delft as well as Forschungszentrum Jülich and RWTH Aachen University, both partners of the Aachen Jülich Research Alliance (JARA), have intensified their collaboration through an official agreement.

Research Minister Wanka Visits JARA-BRAIN at University Hospital Aachen on her Summer Tour

German Federal Minister of Education and Research Johanna Wanka paid a visit to University Hospital Aachen on 28 July, making RWTH Aachen University the first stop of her summer tour. As part of her visit, minister Wanka therefore spoke in particular with the young scientists involved in the research alliance. In three separate sessions, the minister learned about current research being conducted.

Press release: JARA Passes Next Milestone

Aachen/Jülich. On 1 April, the SuperC building of RWTH Aachen University hosted an event for the Jülich Aachen Research Alliance (JARA). The new JARA institutes, in which scientists from Aachen and Jülich will work on pressing issues of our time, were presented to an audience of about 90. At the same time, the directors of the collegially managed institutes were appointed JARA professors. Excellent early-career scientists were also honoured by JARA prizes for young researchers: JARA Best Master and JARA Excellent Junior.
