Nanoelectronics have emerged as an independant and interdisciplinary research field, integrating knowledge, concepts and techniques covering many spatial and temporal scales.

The aim of the Nanoelectronics Days is to provide an open forum for the presentation and discussion of recent research in technology, physics, modeling, simulation and characterization of advanced nanoscale science in nanoelectronics and to establish a discussion forum for new approaches in this field. Additionally, this conference is stimulating the scientific exchange on an European and international level.

The major topics include both fundamental and applied research in the fields of

  • Semiconductor Nanowires and Nanoscale Devices
  • Spincaloritronics, spintronics
  • XUV-Lithography
  • Carbon based Devices
  • Non-volatile Memories
  • Excited States probed by STM
  • Quantum Transport through Nanostructures and Molecules
  • Quantum Devices and new Architectures
