Delft, Aachen and Jülich join forces to build scalable quantum technologies

The JARA-FIT Annual Report 2015 gives an overview about the different occurrences like events, honours and research results. The reports also contains a current list of JARA members and involved institutes. Research reports give a summery about the work an development of the section.

“MAGicSky”: Research into Energy-Efficient Computer Devices

In “Magnetic Skyrmions for Future Nanospintronic Devices”, or “MAGicSky” for short, scientists from France, Germany, Great Britain and Switzerland are pursuing an innovative concept for novel computer components based on magnetic vortices known as skyrmions.


As part of a cooperation project between RWTH Aachen University and Forschungszentrum Jülich (JARA), a new database was created, that provides comprehensive overview of the main research areas in energy of the two institutions.
