“MAGicSky”: Research into Energy-Efficient Computer Devices

In “Magnetic Skyrmions for Future Nanospintronic Devices”, or “MAGicSky” for short, scientists from France, Germany, Great Britain and Switzerland are pursuing an innovative concept for novel computer components based on magnetic vortices known as skyrmions.


As part of a cooperation project between RWTH Aachen University and Forschungszentrum Jülich (JARA), a new database was created, that provides comprehensive overview of the main research areas in energy of the two institutions.
